The first thing we did at Epcot was meet Baymax.
Then we got in line to meet Joy and Sadness. I think we waited about half an hour to meet them (the longest we waited for any characters), but it was so worth it! They were almost everyone's favorite characters and were so so sweet with Katherine. They spent so much time with our family too and were definitely worth the wait.
After we met the characters, we spent the rest of the evening walking around the world showcase. We didn't see any of it last time we came to Disney World, and I sort of regretted it. I was really glad we had the extra time to walk around and weren't rushed. We snacked our way around the world for dinner which was fun too.
We walked through Canada (and ate some cheese fries), and then made it to Great Britain just as it started raining. We ducked out in a gift shop while we waited for the rain to pass.
And only at Dinsey World do they have coloring pages and crayons in the gift shops to keep the kids occupied.
And then randomly Alice in Wonderland walked in as we were packing up to leave. We stopped to meet her and take a picture. Disney World is full of surprises.
When we got to France, we stopped for some crepes and the kids wanted to do a little scavenger hunt I had heard about. They used a Disney app on my phone and walked all through France finding clues to solve a crime or stop a bad guy or something. It was really neat. At one part in France, they pushed a button on my phone and a gargoyle in a glass case lit up in the museum. And at the end they had to ask for a penny at a restaurant and put it in the penny press and got a special penny with the emblem of the scavenger hunt. They had so much fun, and I was so glad we had the extra time to do extra, fun little things like that. They were begging to do another one in a different country, and we had to tell them no.
We grabbed a funnel cake when we passed through America
And ate two giant pretzels to finish off our dinner in Germany
Katherine was living her best life with a pretzel and a paci.
Since that attraction was closed, we said goodbye to Epcot and made it out to the buses around 8:30. We didn't know what to do with ourselves getting back to the hotel at a halfway decent time :)
