Music Camp- The Promise Cruise

At the beginning of June, Samuel, Elisabeth, and Katherine participated in a local' church's music camp.

In May, they all auditioned for special parts. Samuel received a large drama part in the musical. He acted as Dr. Bill Rockstone, an archaeologist who is interviewed on a morning show about Noah's Ark. He asked for a large part and put in the work to learn a lot of lines. I was so proud of him for stepping out of his comfort zone and taking on the responsibility of performing in front of a large crowd.

Elisabeth also auditioned for a drama part and she got a role very fitting on her personality. She was a townsperson questioning Noah for building a giant ark when there was no rain. She did awesome!

Katherine auditioned for a singing part in the musical and sang two solos at the performance.

The kids went to camp everyday from 9:00-12:00 and then performed their musical on Friday evening.
They were very excited!

Seeing their friends each day made music camp extra special.

Dr. Bill Rockstone and Ima Goodie were the guests on Wake Up World.
These kids were ready to perform!
Katherine had a solo during the first song. She's always confident and excited to be in the spotlight.

Samuel was ready for his first scene.

The guests on Wake Up World brought in a DVD with ancient footage from Noah's Ark.

Elisabeth threw all her personality into her lines. I loved it!

Her facial expressions and body language were the best.

The songs were all very cute too.

Katherine's second solo was in the middle of the song called Rainbow.

The final bows are always fun! I was so proud of my kids for working diligently and for using their gifts to share the gospel with all the members of the audience
