We celebrated Thanksgiving with all the best Thanksgiving things- family, friends, and food.
Ever since Nathan was in Pre-K I've made decorated turkey cupcakes for Thanksgiving. Now the girls have taken over. They did it all from start to finish this year. I hope they continue making them for years to come, it's a fun tradition. I didn't even get a picture of the finished product this year. We brought them to CHEER's elementary Thanksgiving feast, and they all disappeared :).
The CHEER Thanksgiving Feast is becoming a favorite tradition. The kids always have the best time with their friends.
Bingo is always a hit at elementary parties.
Nathan has become the default bingo caller at the elementary parties.
Since the kids had some extra free time over break, they showed off their creativity. Sam and Elisabeth opened a brain flakes pet shop.
So detailed and creative!
Samuel always requests apple pie at Thanksgiving and is always willing to help. Eating the apple peels is his favorite part I think.
Katherine made us a turkey out of her mosaic art set.
Elisabeth's favorite part of Thanksgiving is making the jello salads. It's been a tradition for several years now.
Everyone helped get ready for Thanksgiving dinner.

It's not a visit from Granny and Grandaddy without Fast Track. These kids are pros by now.
One of my special Thankgsiving memories is this decoration that Granny painted. I've always loved it and remember how fun it was to set up when I was a kid. Now my children share that joy with me. Such special legacy.
Once Thanksgiving lunch was over, it was officially Christmas season, and my little elves couldn't wait to decorate the tree.
Our Thanksgiving was simple yet special, treasured memories.
This Fall, Nathan and Samuel had the opprtunity to join a First Lego League team coached by a friend from our co-op. They were very excited for the opportunity and worked hard for several weeks leading up to the regional competition. Nathan and Samuel both mainly worked on the coding. Nathan stayed for hours the night before the competition fine tuning the code.
This is such a great group of kids- they worked really well together and each of their unique strengths contributed to make up a competitive team.
The younger siblings made the best fan club.
Since this was a first year team, with a first year coach, and a late start to the season, the expectations were low. This was a learning year for the kids, but as they started competed, we all realized that these kids had a chance to advance to state- something no one expected.

I was proud of the way our team had such positive, encouraging attitudes the entire day. They helped set a positive tone for all the teams.
As the kids nervously sat through the awards waiting to hear if they advanced to state, they were all sh
ocked to win a first place trophy for robot design!! Such an exciting and unexpected achievement for them. They're going to be unstoppable with some more experience under their belts.
And then the moment they heard- WE'RE GOING TO STATE! What a day!
As soon as the competition was over, we headed to Edmond for the rest of the weekend. We celebrated Grandma's 70th birthday and spent Sunday at the Science Museum.
In typical Baugher kid fashion, they opened and closed down the museum and are ready to go back again.
The segway was a highlight.
Is anyone even surprised that these boys spent hours building with Legos.
The competitiveness came out in the Olympic exhibit.
Our little gymnast spent hours at the gymnastics area. She rarely walks- she's always flipping and dancing her way through life.
Love watching these cousins play together.
We stayed Sunday night in Edmond because we had plans Monday afternoon in OKC. We did some shopping Monday morning, and the girls wanted to spend their money on the bungee trampoline at the mall.
That afternoon we drove to the Capitol for a tour with our AHG troop. The kids hadn't been on a Capitol tour before. We all learned a lot!
The dome is gorgeous.
My kids were especially interested in the fancy chairs, microphones, and voting buttons.
We studied robotics on Saturday, science on Sunday and government on Monday. We're living our best homeschool lives over here!
