Fall is full of fun for our family.
These kids rocked yearbook photos. They're growing up so quickly!
Elisabeth and Katherine's AHG troop hosted a talent show at the Baptist Village. Both girls were eager to participate.
Katherine sang her favorite song that she learned in Sunday School.
Hearing these two perform brought tears to my eyes as they sang their testimony. Christ has surely been their firm foundation as they've walked through trials. Our family has truly experienced joy in chaos and peace that makes no sense. So grateful for they way they've all grown closer to Christ through their personal struggles.
Such a special day!
My big kids participated in a service project for Blue Star Mothers with CHEER.
They made cards and packed care packages.
And Elisabeth sang one of her favorites, "Firm Foundation"
At the last minute Nathan jumped in and offered to accompany her on the guitar. He's the best big brother to hang out with a bunch of girls for the evening just to help his sister.
All the girls did such a great job at the talent show. What a fun night!
Our family celebrated with Sarah as she was baptized this Fall. These girls have been best friends since birth, and it's a joy to watch them grow and mature in their faith and their friendship. Such a special day!
The kids got to wear their Halloween costumes to co-op.
Katherine brought Wilson, the stuffed bear Matt bought for me while we were dating to show and tell. It's one of her favorite stuffed animals right now. My big kids participated in a service project for Blue Star Mothers with CHEER.
They made cards and packed care packages.
Samuel, Elisabeth, and Katherine marched in the Veteran's Day Parade with Trail Life/AHG.
Their favorite part is handing out candy.
Nathan wore all his OSU gear for good luck on Bedlam.
He was invited to a watch party as his good friend's house- a Sooner fan! There was some smack talk going back and forth before the game.
It ended up being a good day to be a Cowboy!
Matt's project this Fall has been installing a door and adding extra attic space. I was hesitant, but like always he did a great job, and the kids are loving access to our new "Easy Attic" as they have named it.
Katherine and Kyla live their best lives at co-op each week. Music class is so fun!
Chandra hosted us at her home for a lovely Fall night. The weather was perfect, and all the kids had the best time playing all night long.
Love these people so much! I'm always thankful for enduring, encouraging, and enriching friendships with these ladies.
S'mores for the win.
We celebrated some very belated birthdays. Coordinating four families' schedules in this season of life is challenging, but we made it happen!
At the end of the night, Elisabeth asked if we could do it again tomorrow :)
The sign of a great night- falling asleep on the ten minute drive home.
Samuel has been steadily improving with his piano lessons and recently learned to play Fur Elise. I'm so proud of him! When he finds a song he enjoys playing, he practices nonstop.
