This summer, Katherine and Elisabeth had the opportunity to participate in a local church's music camp. It's pretty obvious they love to sing and perform, so this was the perfect summer opportunity for them, and bonus they got to do it with some of their best friends.
We carpooled each day with a van FULL of kiddos ready to sing and worship at camp.
Friday night they got to perform the musical they had worked on all week long. The songs are still stuck in my head from listening to them so much.
Katherine performed with the preschool. She never does anything small.
In the intermission between the preschool and the elementary musical, Katherine rocked out to Church Clap.
Then it was this girl's turn!
She rocked her solo! Nerves of steel, that girl
I sure am proud of these girls. It's so fun to watch them shine and share their passions with others. And the truths they learned and hid in their heart through the songs they learned, I hope they stay with them forever as they battle bullies in their lives.
And camp is always more fun with your best friends. Grateful these girls got to spend the week together.
They're both hoping to do it again next year!
