First Visit to the Pediatrician

Last Tuesday we took Nathan for his first pediatrician appointment. It was also the first time that the three of us had to be up, dressed, fed, and out the door at an appointed time. I counted it as a success that we made it to the appointment on time. They asked us to be there a little early to fill out paperwork, but I view getting there right on time with a 5 day old as an achievement. They should give us an award.
I had to get a picture with my little man since I actually showered, did my hair and put on makeup for the day (believe me that doesn't happen every day).

Looking handsome to meet the doctor

Getting examined is hard work. It wore him out

"Let's go home, but can you stop by Sonic first"

Our appointment went so great. Nathan had maintained his going home weight and even put on 1/2 an ounce. That was such good news for a nervous new momma who is nursing. The nurse answered a lot of my questions and I left feeling much more confident with the whole breastfeeding thing. The doctor told us we had a very healthy little boy. We left the appointment feeling incredibly blessed that we have been given this healthy, perfect little miracle. God has been so good to us in allowing us to raise this precious baby.
