Florida 2015- The Pool

We didn't spend all our time at the beach while we were in Florida. We spent a good amount of time at the pool too! We always stopped by the pool on our way back from the beach in the mornings, and we also usually went back after nap time or in the evening after dinner. Nathan thought it was cool to swim in the dark!

Elisabeth liked the pool, but she liked climbing in and out and running around more. She played some with us, but not too often.
We had a lot of fun playing the the boys.

Samuel liked to play "motorboat." He'd float on his tummy, kick his legs and blow bubbles in the water. So adorable. I meant to get it on video, but never did. Maybe we'll make it to our neighborhood pool one more time this summer, so I can record it.
Nathan practiced "scuba diving" too without his life jacket. His version of scuba diving really just involved a lot of dog paddling, but he was proud of himself.

By the end of the week, we had gotten hooked on playing sharks in the pool. We came up with lots of different types of sharks: Tickle Shark, Dunker Shark, Dumper Shark (that shark dumped a cup of water on someone's head), Hugger Shark, Kisser Shark, and Splasher Shark. We played it almost every time we were in the pool. It always involved a lot of laughter and playfulness.

Nathan had it figured out by the end of the week. He'd swim up to me and yell Hugger Shark and wrap his arms around me and then immediately push my head under water and yell Dunker Shark! It was fun to be playful and horse around with them at the pool.
Matt and I enjoyed some alone in the pool sometimes in the evenings too. We loved the relaxed schedule and having lots of pool time each day!
