Weatherford Baby Shower

Last weekend, we traveled to Weatherford for Nathan's first baby shower. This was our last trip (unless something unforeseen happens) to Weatherford before Nathan is born, and it was fun talking to Matt on the way about how different our next trip would be. We warned Rhapsody that she soon would no longer have free reign of the backseat during car trips.

I had a great time at the shower. It was mainly family and close family friends, and there were a lot of people that I hadn't seen in a long time, so it was really nice to catch up with some of our extended family members. We were blessed with some great gifts for our sweet Nathan, and I've spent the last few days working on organizing the nursery and washing sheets, blankets, and baby clothes.

My mom had this precious cake made that matches our nursery bedding. It tasted delicious too!

We got lots of great gifts including our travel system. Now that we have a car seat, we can bring him home from the hospital :)
Nathan is blessed with lots of grandmas and great grandmas to love on him.

We spent the rest of the weekend visiting with family. Since my parents don't live in Weatherford anymore, we stayed with my grandparents which was fun for a change. I know Granny loved hosting us, and we got a chance to spend some quality time with them which is pretty rare when we make weekend trips to Weatherford.
