Our Valentine's Celebrations were very sweet.
Katherine was ready for her Elementary Valentine's Party
The party snuck up on us a bit, and the kids didn't have much time to work on their Valentine's boxes. As usual though, Samuel rose to the occasion and created the coolest Minecraft box the morning before the party. I'm always impressed with his creativity. We all had the best time at the Valentine's party. The kids decorated crafts, played Bingo and Musical Hearts, ate snacks, and passed out their Valentines.
I can't believe it was this boy's last Elementary Valentine's Party.
Since Valentine's Day fell on a Wednesday this year, we did our family celebration a day early. The kids were very excited about our traditional fondue dinner and sharing about what we all love about each other.
After dinner, the kids received their annual scavenger hunt. As they've gotten older, we've tried to up the difficulty of the hunt. This year, they all had to solve puzzles- crosswords, codes, etc. to receive their next clue.
It took them a lot longer to solve the scavenger hunt this year.
They finally solved the last puzzle and found their gifts.
