We spent a fun day attending a field trip with our homeschool co-op at Har-Ber Village. The kids had a great day and compared it to Williamsburg. I think they liked it!
There were several stations they could visit. The first thing they did was an activity at the printing press. Then we visited the weaving shop which was a highlight of the day. We watched a demonstration on the large loom, and then the kids got to try out a smaller loom.
Then we all took turns churning butter.
And grinding corn into cornmeal.
These girls love doing anything together. They're the cutest friends.
The last activity station was candle making.
After we visited all the stations, we spent a bit of time exploring the other buildings in the village.
It was beautiful Fall Day.
I'm sure we'll be back visiting another time soon.
